Acoustics and technicals
Every StoryTile and StoryWall is crafted on high-performance acoustic panels made right here in Aotearoa. These panels are created from recycled plastic bottles, transformed into a strong and versatile fibreboard that is both durable and environmentally responsible. Playing our part in the circular economy was important to ensuring we remain conscionable in our purpose.
The panels are lightweight yet robust, designed to absorb and soften sound, creating quieter, calmer spaces. They carry excellent safety credentials - low VOC emissions, fire-safe ratings, and resistance to mould and moisture - making them suitable for homes, workplaces, schools, and public venues.
For us, these panels are more than just a base. They are the canvas of conscience upon which our cultural narratives live. By pairing innovative acoustic material with ancestral intelligence, StoryTiles and StoryWalls become multipurpose: they decorate, they perform, they protect, and they connect.
